WebI plan on fishing mostly in Long Island, NY (surf). Looking for suggestions, recommendations and advices if you have used this rod. It's rated for 6-16oz, heavy power and fast action. But I hear Daiwa rods are often overrated. If you can speak about how you're using this rod, how stiff it is, etc; it would be very much appreciated.

This is a beautiful looking rod, very light weight and with a very sensitive tip. I also have an Okuma Longitude surf rod which is a heavy rod and when I hook a 1 to 2 pound fish I hardly know its on the line.
